Sob with Joy for the Saab 9-5
Saabs are pretty hip little cars — but they may be getting a bit edgier, if the recently released images of the brand new Saab 9-5 are any indication. The car was inspired by the concept of the Aero X back in 2006. Inspiration also came from the Swedish manufacturer’s heritage and history in aviation. It is pretty safe to say that the new design is quite progressive.
The vehicle’s falling roof line and the glass house which raps around it define the car’s ultimate character. There is a bit of the Saab 900 to be found in the windshield. As well, the body if the vehicle is clean and uncluttered, rife with rather organic shapes.
The cabin is specifically focused towards the driver, and the simplicity and modernity extend there. There is plenty of leg room and shoulder room in both the front and the back.
